Homeschooling and After Schooling Resources

The Homeschool Buyers Co-op is a national, non-profit cooperative of homeschooling families. Their mission is to make homeschooling more affordable for all homeschoolers.

Need homeschooling advice? The Homeschooler's Guide connects parents with the educational resources they need to make informed decisions about how to educate their children and actively supports a wide variety of educational choices.

The Home Educators Resource Directory (HERD) is a great free source we recommend for anyone interested in homeschooling, family learning, and educating children. It will save you hours of research time. The newsletter is very inspirational as well.

Diane Flynn Keith, the author of Carschooling, has two wonderful free resources for homeschoolers and families to provide you with endless ideas and inspiration.

  1. ClickSchooling provides you with a daily email that contains a review of an educational website that you can use to supplement your curriculum or schooling. Subscribe (it's free) now!
  2. The Homefires E-zine is a monthly publication with articles, resources, and activities that enhance learning. To subscribe (it's free), visit Homefires and enter your email address in the "Join Our Email List" form.
  3. Do you live near Toronto or are planning a trip? If so, check out Life With Kids, a website was developed by two Mums who were tired of endless web searches to find things to do with and for their children. It's a one stop source to find activity groups, child friendly businesses and restaurants, and advice.
